By creating an account, making a booking, or simply browsing Travelpaxeo, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

Travelpaxeo is a two-sided marketplace connecting travellers with service providers in the Republic of Maldives, including resorts, guesthouses, restaurants, shops, and activity operators.

Travelpaxeo acts as an intermediary between travellers and vendors. We are not the provider of the accommodation, food, activities, or other services listed on the Platform. The contract for services is between you and the vendor directly.

Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is prohibited

Social Sign-In

When using Google, Microsoft, Apple, or Facebook to sign in, you authorise Travelpaxeo to access basic profile information from those providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or vendors on the Platform.

Making a Booking

• All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation
• Instant bookings are confirmed immediately upon payment
• Request bookings require vendor confirmation within the stated response time
• A booking reference (format: TPX-YYYY-XXXXXX) is issued upon confirmation

Pricing

• Prices are displayed in MVR and USD. The charged currency depends on your selected payment method
• A platform service fee may be included in the displayed price
• Exchange rates used are updated hourly and may vary slightly from interbank rates

Payment Methods

• BML Internet Payment Gateway (MVR)
• Maldives Islamic Bank — MIB (MVR)
• Stripe (international cards — USD, EUR, GBP)
• Cash on arrival (where offered by vendor)

Traveller Cancellations

• Cancellation policies vary by vendor and are displayed on each listing before booking
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
• Platform service fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed

Vendor Cancellations

• If a vendor cancels a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund including platform fees
• We will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative booking where possible

No-Shows

If you fail to arrive without cancelling, the vendor's no-show policy applies. Refunds for no-shows are at the vendor's discretion.

Vendors registered on Travelpaxeo agree to:

• Maintain an active subscription to keep listings visible and bookable
• Provide accurate, up-to-date listing information, pricing, and availability
• Honour confirmed bookings unless exceptional circumstances prevent it
• Comply with all applicable Maldivian laws and tourism regulations
• Maintain appropriate licences and permits for their services
• Respond to booking requests within the stated response window
• Pay platform commissions on completed bookings as per their agreement

You must not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform by arranging direct payments with vendors to avoid commissions
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other users' accounts
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code

All content on Travelpaxeo — including the platform design, logo, code, text, and graphics — is owned by TEQRIOUS or its licensors and protected by copyright law.

Vendors grant Travelpaxeo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display their listing content (photos, descriptions, pricing) on the Platform for the purpose of facilitating bookings.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without express written permission.

Travelpaxeo is a marketplace platform and intermediary. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by vendors
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Maldives.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and display a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
